Concept: The best-ball format will create an intriguing match up between Weir and three superb athletes. While all four players are great competitors in their own right, the focus of the Invitational will be more on good humour, fun and camaraderie than winning. Instead of playing for prize money, these athletes will be playing to raise funds for the PEBBLES Foundation.

Television: Broadcast nationally on Global TV July 28-29, 2001, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Tickets: Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, May 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Atlantic Time (10:00 a.m. Eastern Time). Tickets can be purchased by telephone through Ticketmaster at 1-888-833-4447 or via the Internet at www.ticketmaster.ca. Two-day tickets will be available at a cost of $66.99 and Sunday tickets can be purchased separately for $9.99. Ticketmaster service charges and applicable taxes apply. Two-day ticket sales are limited to eight per order. Tickets will be distributed via mail for arrival no later than mid-June.

Parking: Parking will be available close to the golf course, and a nominal fee will be charged. No parking will be available directly at the golf course. A map to the parking area will be included with the tickets.
