The Canadian Club Champions Championship was established in 1986 by the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) to give club champions from RCGA member clubs across Canada the chance to compete against each other in a national championship to crown Canada's tob club champion. To qualify for entry into this national championship, a player must have won either his club's stroke-play or match-play championship. The format is 72-holes of stroke play, played over four consecutive days with a cut after the third day to the low 70 and ties. The RCGA will award the top three finishers, and crown the low contestant as the 2000 Club Champion.
